Delicious food, quick, and great value. Incredibly nice staff and service. Inventive and pleasant breakfast drinks.
I ordered fried catfish, grits and eggs this morning and it was good. It was my first time eating catfish. The coffee was delicious also. My waitress was Lee and she was very nice. I was at the Hampstead location.
Oh lord... I imagine heaven is like this. My guy said it was good on the way... but what he meant was fantabulous. The Crabcake Benedict was just out of this world full of crab.. eggs perfect and hollandaise light and tangy. He had the redneck burrito and it could have easily be shared or taken home for lunch. This white gravy is legit...like my mom’s These portions are hefty and so delicious. I almost went back the next day. Don’t miss this gem. I’ll see you again soon.
A country restaurant with a country feel to it. The food was just what you would expect from a place such as this. Good, hot, and plenty. I eat there again my next time in town.
The staff is friendly and it feels like a family here. I like the smiley face on the cold chicken salad platter! It's a nice personal touch.
Ate here for the first time today. Hands down one of the best breakfasts we had down there. The portions were absolutely huge, and the food and wait staff were incredible.
Great Southern hospitality and cooking in an un-assuming little diner. I ordered the Western Omelette & was highly-pleased with it. Grits that were on the side were AMAZING. If you’re coming for breakfast — the Grits are the highlight. If you’re coming for lunch — the fried okra is a must try! ***Note that prices they have on their website are VERY out of date and much of it has gone up a good amount. Also, they charge a 3% credit card fee when you checkout that is not clearly listed.
We decided to go to sawmill for breakfast and boy were we not disappointed! The service wasn’t the best bc we were left on our own most of the time but they were busy so there’s that. We both had chicken and waffles with a side of bacon and the food was worth the wait!!! The chicken was hot and moist and the waffle was crispy and delicious! If you’re in town and want a great breakfast GO HERE!!!!!!
